Day at the Park!

We spent last Saturday with Kirsten and Brooke. We met for breakfast and then headed over to the park. Riley and Brooke had a great time sliding, swinging, and climbing!

Papa's Birthday!

March 15 is my dad's birthday. We went out to dinner with my parents and we got this great shot of Riley and her papa together!

It's Been a While!

So, I usually try to post once a month, but January was kind of lost in the shuffle. Brad remodeled our kitchen, so most of January was spent in dust and dining in the family room! He did a fabulous job, but sadly, no January photos! We did spend a wonderful snow filled weekend in Tahoe in February. We took Riley sledding and she loved it. Every time she got down to the bottom of the hill, she would say, "Again!".

Happy New Year!

We can't believe another year had passed. Riley is nearly 2 and what a year it has been! We had another day of eating and spending time with family on New Year's Day! Riley was really in the spirt of the new year with her hat! Happy New Year, Everyone!

A Time for Family and Friends

The holidays are always a time to see family you don't see very often. My cousin Rob and his fiance' Nadja came out from Maryland again this year. We spent the day after Christmas together playing games, eating delicious food my dad made, and shopping! We also got the girls, Riley and Emma, together for some play time a couple days after Christmas! They are so fun together!

Christmas Day!

We had a wonderful day! We opened presents with just the three of us in the morning. My mom and dad came over for breakfast and then Brad's mom, dad, brother Phil, and Aunt Diane came over in the afternoon. We enjoyed a feast together and then Riley got to help out with the gingerbread house this year. She loved it! She kept popping candy in her mouth in between dumping the candies on the table. She likes to sneak in those sweets. As we were decorating the cookies for Santa, she kept taking a bite out of the cookies. By the time we were finished, nearly every cookie had a bite taken from it!

Christmas Eve Night

As always, Christmas Eve is with Brad's side of the family. We have a special dinner of shrimp and crab newberg. Then Riley opened her gifts. Cousin Debbie painted her own rocking chair from when she was a little girl. Now it is Riley's chair! How special, Cousin Debbie! Like all kids, though, she enjoyed playing with the box it came in more! We had a wonderful night with Family!

Christmas in the Park

We had to take Rlley to Christmas in the Park this year. She is old enough to enjoy the lights and scenes. She really loved the choo choo train. She was mesmerized by it!

Christmas Lights!

We went to see some Christmas lights in South San Francisco with my mom and dad. Riley had a fun time seeing all the lights and decorations. Then we went out to dinner at Tao Tao...one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants! It was lots of fun!

We Found the Perfect Tree!

We went tree hunting with our friends Anne, Jeremy, and Emma! It was lots of fun climbing the hills with Riley and looking for our tree. We found it and decorated it the next day. Riley got to put the star on top for the first time!
