Tahoe!

We were lucky enough to be able to escape to Tahoe in June. We had a great time with all of the grandparents. We went out on the boat, had picnics, played in the yard, enjoyed great food and great company!

Our Trip to The San Francisco Zoo

Brad and I decided to take a little family trip to the San Francisco Zoo. It was freezing, but tons of fun! Riley enjoyed going to the petting zoo and seeing the giraffes, one of them especially! However, she did not enjoying the merry-go-round quite as much!

My First Time on the Boat!

Riley absolutely LOVED going on Grandpa Gene and Grandma Jeanne's boat. She had the best time, the wind through her hair and the bumps on the water! She couldn't stop laughing and smiling! She even got to drive for a bit on Grandpa Gene's lap! We also enjoyed a nice picnic on the water.

Just Some Random Shots

Here is Riley in a friend's son's Escalade. She is less than enthused, but it made for a cute shot. Thanks, Austin, for letting Riley borrow your "Ride"!
The other shot that cracks me up, is the duck couple who come and visit our pool periodically...it drives Bailey crazy!

Riley's First Birthday Party!!

I can't believe how fast the year went. Our little lady is now one. She had a great time at her ladybug themed party. We were so lucky that Uncle Phil, a fantastic professional photographer, took photos of the day for Riley to remember! Thanks, Uncle Phil!

My First Birthday!

Riley had her first birthday on April 24. I took the day off from work to spend time with Riley and get things ready for her party the next day. Great Aunt Diane was able to be here from Nevada City. We also spent the evening with my parents and Brad's parents. My mom brought her a cake that she was terribly frightened by! It was so nice to have the family over to spend her birthday together.

Look Ma, No Hands!

Riley is standing on her own. According to the doctor, the next step is a step! We are so excited to see her development and can't wait to see those first steps!
